It
is very important not to have food or drink near the touch tanks!
Each
tank maintains a delicate balance and the introduction of sugars and
other foods can cause an imbalance, and promote harmful bacterial
growth! |

The new touch tank
was too large to be delivered fully assembled - it had to be
delivered in parts, then assembled on the out-field. |

Once the tank is ready, it will be filled with Cow Nosed Rays,
just like those in the Aquarium's 2nd Floor Beach Exhibit.
Aquarium Staff will assist the Devil Ray's Staff in
maintaining the tank and caring for its Rays. |
