Coral reefs are some of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Thousands of species rely on reefs for survival. Thousands of communities all over the world also depend on coral reefs for food, protection and jobs. That almost all of our beach sand
is made from ground up coral? It's Parrot Fish that make most
of it, by chewing up the coral for food, and excreting it as waste. So next time you're at the beach, remember your sitting on Fish poop!
